Ticking is visual in the demo — the actions live with the meeting record.
Thanks for having us at the house again, Jenny. Three things on the list today: cabinetry delivery, the benchtop, and the cooker change you emailed through.
Perfect. And whatever happens, I need a working kitchen by mid-July — we've got family staying.
That's still the target. Mid-July is comfortable if we lock the cooker decision in this week.
Cabinetry first. Arrowtown Joinery have confirmed delivery the week of Monday the eighth of June.
It'll come as carcasses first, doors and panels on the second truck. We'll stage it all in the garage if that's alright.
The garage is fine — I'll clear the left bay this weekend.
We'll lay dust sheets and keep everything up off the concrete on bearers. Joinery doesn't love damp floors.
How long is the install once it arrives?
About three days for the run of base and wall units, plus a day for the island. Call it four.
And are the laundry cabinets on the same truck? They were a later add-on.
Same delivery, yes — I checked with the joiner on Friday and the laundry units made the production run.
Great, that was my main worry.
So we're agreed — cabinetry delivery the week of the eighth of June, staged in the garage, install starting as soon as the second truck lands.
Benchtop next. The stone shop won't template until the cabinets are fixed and level — that's standard practice.
Cabinets are in by Friday the twelfth, so the benchtop template on Wednesday the seventeenth of June is safe.
Fabrication is five working days, so the benchtop install lands Wednesday the twenty-fourth of June.
What do you need from me before the template?
The sink and the tap physically on site. It's an undermount, so the stone shop measures around the actual bowl, not a spec sheet.
The sink's arrived already — it's in the hall cupboard. The tap is showing delivery on the twelfth of June.
That works. If the tap slips past the sixteenth, tell me straight away and we'll juggle the template booking.
And nobody touches the cabinets between install and template. No leaning boards on them, no 'temporary' shelves.
Understood — hands off the cabinets.
Now, the cooker. We've gone off the sixty-centimetre wall oven. We want the ninety-centimetre freestanding induction one — I sent Mara the model.
I've priced it as a variation — VO-07. The joinery changes, the wider bench cutout and the new circuit come to about one thousand eight hundred and fifty plus GST.
What exactly changes in the joinery?
The oven tower goes away, the base run gets rejigged to leave a nine-hundred gap, and you pick up an extra pot drawer beside the cooker. The stone cutout changes too, which is why we need this locked before template.
The electrician also runs a dedicated circuit for the induction top — that's in the price.
Does it move any dates?
Not if it's confirmed by Tuesday the second of June. The joiner holds the revised drawings until then.
Then yes — go ahead, subject to seeing the quote in writing.
You'll have the written VO-07 by Friday the twenty-ninth of May. Reply-approve on the email and we're away.
One more from me — you're away early June, right? We'll need access for the delivery.
First week of June, yes. I'll give you the garage code before we go — remind me by text.
Dylan will sort that with you this week. Anything else while we're all here?
Just — thank you. This is the first build meeting where I haven't needed a glass of wine after.
We'll take that. I'll email the summary and the action list this afternoon.
